A new painting in a series created on joined canvas pieces. There are always off-cuts and, rather than discarding these pieces, they have been used to create new canvasses. Not only does this cancel waste, it provides a linear quality and added elements that would otherwise not be present - similar to the Japanese art of Kintsugi. The paintings do not follow the lines, on the contrary, the painting is created without taking these joins into consideration; the result cannot be foreseen and the colour, shadow and line provide added depth to the composition. This is the largest painting in the series so far...
